Good news: I found someone that is going to let me borrow his back protector. Also, his roommate is going to let me borrow his race bodywork and tank! How awesome is that?? I feel a lot better now. So if by some WEIRD accident I do go down, I'll just buy him a new set of race bodywork instead of having to buy myself new street plastics.

Bad news: Still need boots and gloves that cover my wrists. The ones I have now are too short.

I'm gettin there though
Well that really blows... At least you found one you can borrow for the time being. I would however be hesitant to remove the one from your suit...I mean, I wouldn't want to cut my new one apart...but that's me.
Check that link I sent you earlier. They have some Joe Rocket boots for like $137 or so...Hell, the Hayden brothers wear rocket so it's gotta be good, right?
Gloves~Mine are alpinestars, actually made for women. They are ok but break in is an absolute bitch. Everything else stretched way too much and I got bunchy palms. I think I got mine for around $70 or so, but it's been awhile so I could be wrong on that figure. They are the gaunlet style with all the knuckle armor. (My joe rocket gloves were crap...but then again I crashed alot in those )
I'll keep my eyes open for ya, and if I see anything reasonable, I'll let you know.
