To get the seat off, all you have to do is remove the side panels, and then there is two 12 or 14mm bolts holding it on. Just undo those and it will come off. As far as the "pulsating", I'd have to hear it to tell you if it is normal. I do believe someone makes a doube bubble for them. Good luck and congrats on the new bike.
