I went for a nice ride tonight. The air temp was 82 with a nice breeze. I didn't do any hard riding. When I got home, I felt heat by my leg, and reached down and put my hand on the cover over where the oil goes in, and it was pretty darn hot. I mean hot to almost the point of hurting. (Is this normal??)

I also felt the clutch cover, and while it was not as hot, it too felt fairly hot to me.

I checked my oil level and everything is fine. My engine temp gauge never read any higher during the night than 3 bars, and most of the night was at 2 bars.

So just asking if you think everything is ok.
