Good for Ducati, but kind of annoying that this will be the third recall I have had my bike in for. #1 ECU mapping, #2 sprocket recall and now the voltage regulator.

I just can't imagine a recall on a Ducati!!! I guess that is why I ride the real Italian bike, Aprilia.

Sorry to hear about the problem but all real bikes seem to have problems, even Aprilia once on a while.

At least now is a good time to get the work done and be ready for the spring.

Just had the recall done last weekend. Though the bike has been trouble free for me (knock on wood), I am glad to have it done none the less. This is just part of owning a hand made italian race bike. I bought into Ducati knowing this and the pride of ownership that goes along with owning this bike more than makes up for it.

Look at it this way...at least Ducati is doing a recall. Aprilia would just ignore the problem until they found someone else to buy the company (again).
