$6000? You can buy one here and ship it there for less money! Speaking of which... you want to buy mine?

I'm ready to get one, just wanted to get the scoop on how fast they are going. I'm deployed so havent been to a dealer yet. Seen some on ebay already.

Just trying to get some info on how the dealers are doing. Deployed again so haven't been to the dealer yet. How hard are they to get, and I am looking to get a yellow 1098.

My dealer is taking orders on 2008 models, if that's any indication on how they're selling out here.

Yellows are showing up and while most are spoken for, some dealers in the U.S. have them unsold. To be sure, this situation won't last for long.

So what is the deal? You're already thinking of selling your 1098? The local dealer up here in Northern CA can't keep 'em on the floor for 5min before someone walks in w. a check book. They are really sweet lookin' bike, but too rich for my blood, not to mention that I haven't found the end of the throttle on my FZ6 yet, so until then, no need for 1098cc V-twin power.

sfarson, are you in the Springs? Trying to get in touch with them to drop a deposit. Is the Denver dealer bigger?

If you are in the military you can get them a little cheaper thru AAFES Sales.
Hope it works out for you. I have one and added a few items to it and it came out to 17,000. Besides, I know the owner of the bike shop so I got a great deal on mine. Real sweet ride.

Thanks man, and yes I am in the military but AAFES only does Harley-Davidson. I searched high and low and had to put a deposit down on a 2008.

Wow, trying to sell it?
I'm amazed with mine. Incredible motor with a chassis to match! The only things I can bitch about are the pancake of a seat and the mirrors are next to useless.
