it depends if i'm riding the gixxrt i ware it allways but if i'm just putting around the yard on my xr or grizzly (not giving it to much gas) then i don't ware one. all i got to say is when i look at my off road helmet and see all of the scratches and paint chipped off of it. i know i'm going to allways ware one if it's more then 10mph around the yard. i can think of how many times i have been flying off road and seen a tree brach hanging low so i get as low to my bike as possible some times they clip ya some times they don't but when they do your sure are glad you had one on beacuse the tree branch would have made you wreck and problay cracked your skull.

It's not the law in Florida. Still wear mine tho. Ya never know when it may come in handy. Bird sh!t, sh!t falling from trees, sh!t getting kicked up from the car in front of you, sh!tty pavement slamming you in the head after some geezer in a cage mistakes the gas for the brake. Gotta watch out for those geezers!
