Discovered cool twisties
 

I never knew that there are so many twisties near my house. I always thought that there was only HWY 94 but discovered that there are more good twisties near my pad. Took De Hesa Road and took Japatul Road to 79 north and decided to go to Julian, sat and rested at the chuckwagon:). From Julian we had to get back home and we took 78 to 67 but went and turn to Highland Valley Road. Boy, that was some scary sh*t. It's better to take that road going to Julian not from there. It was mostly downhill and had so much close calls and there was a lot of gravel and some rocks coming from the mountain.

I hit traffic 15 south and 805 south.

I would also like to add that there were many popos cruising around.

Highland Valley Rd is the shiznit no matter which way you're riding it, bro. Going back the other way there are totally different kneedraggin spots so it makes for variety. Enjoy! We have some of the best roads around! God...I LOVE San Diego!:twofinger

How come you never told me about this place? You know that I also live inthe South Bay. Aren't you off on Thurdays and Fridays? I should be off by 1 pm.

I live about 1 min from highland valley.. and i ride it every day. Going up to Ramona there is never any gravel.. and they havn't fucked with the road. I'd recomend taking it fast up hill, becuase its a lot safer. Another option is to take a left (coming up hill) at the top of the hill.. the first left you can. This wraps down the hill to 79. I guess i need to post the ride map i found.. because you guys are slacking on back roads. =)

You're going to the cycle party on Saturday, right? What are the chances you'll run up there wih me on Friday night?

I have my weekend college class this Saturday but I was planning on going there late. I know that it would be fun to be there on time but my professor (a she) is a donkey.

Also, I can't ride on the weekends since the old lady gave me this "You do not make an effort to spend time with your family:mad " crap. I could not really complain since she IS the one who is paying for my bike:D
